iOS plans?
The big advantage Notes has over Floaters is iOS compatibility. Notes works on iPhones and iPads. Are there plans to do the same with Floaters?

over 1 year ago100% agree. And in our usage, we've wanted to access floaters from our phones many times. We plan to address this in some way but we aren't completely sure how yet. Could be a native iOS app. Could be something in between. Could use Apple Notes for access on iOS and sync back to the Floaters setup on macOS.

As of version 0.9, you can now access your notes on iOS by setting up a Markdown vault in iCloud Drive and then using any of the various iOS markdown apps, such as Obsidian. Any changes made in Floaters, to the files directly, or in the other apps, will all appear in all other locations.
For now this will be the recommended way of accessing notes on iOS. There’s still a definite possibility of creating a Floaters iOS app, but the majority of the unique and helpful features in Floaters won’t translate well from Mac to iOS.
That’s not saying it’ll never happen. Just saying that there’s now a (free) way of having your Floaters notes on your iPhone/iPad.
